The Seedling Giveaway will take place Saturday, Feb. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon where 2,000 tree seedlings will be handed out by the Tyler Trees Committee at the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances South Tyler location.
During the annual event, seedlings are given away on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is sponsored by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System, ArborGen, and the Texas A&M Forest Service. Along with the seedlings, attendees will receive information on the species of their seedlings and proper planting information.
