FAQs
What age group does my daughter belong in?
- 6U is for girls who are five (5) or six (6).
- 8U is for girls who are seven (7) or eight (8).
- 10U is for girls who are at least nine (9) and still ten (10).
- 12U is for girls who are at least eleven (11) and still twelve (12).
Effective December 31, 2022.
What do I need to purchase for my daughter?
Parents/Guardians are responsible for purchasing supplies, besides the team jersey. All team jerseys will be provided by Tyler Girls Softball League.
Batting helmets must have face guards. All equipment needed for Softball can be found at Tyler Athletics.
When will we know what team we are on?
What days and times will games be on?
Games will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. starting at 6pm-9pm. Faulkner Park softball field 1.
What days will practice be on?
Practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. starting at 6 pm-9pm. Faulkner Park softball field 2-3.
Are participants required to wear pants or shorts?
It is at the discretion of the team, whether pants or shorts are worn. Whatever is decided must be worn by the entire team.
What kind of shoes should players wear?
All players should wear cleats. Metal cleats are not allowed.
What kind of bat does my player need?
