School is Cool

The 13th Annual #SchoolisCool event will be held in person at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center and Rose Garden Center on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Thanks to the continued partnership among the City of Tyler, the Tyler Area Business Education Council, and TISD, we distributed nearly 2,000 backpacks to school-aged children in 2025. This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from local sponsors and the enthusiastic volunteers.

How can you help?

Become a Donor or Sponsor - Every $60 will purchase a backpack with school supplies.

Platinum Sponsor - $2,500

• All of the gold benefits, plus
• Named as a major platinum sponsor on all marketing materials
• Insert in each backpack (printed materials and payment must be received by July 17)

Gold Sponsor - $1,000

• All of the silver benefits, plus
• Named as a gold sponsor on all marketing materials
• Signage near a backpack distribution location at the event
• Company logo on the back of volunteer t-shirts

Silver Sponsor - $500

• All of the bronze benefits, plus
• Named as a silver sponsor on all marketing materials

Bronze Sponsor - $250

• Company logo on website and printed items

Complete your Immunization Forms

Anyone with insurance must contact the NETHealth office at (903) 510-5604 prior to the event for insurance verification and coverage. They accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, some UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna.

They charge a $10 per-vaccine-administration fee for those without insurance, but do not turn anyone away for inability to pay. Children on Medicaid/CHIP will need to bring their cards at the time of service. Cash or check only, check number must be #500 or greater.
