Fun Forest Pool

Fun Forest Pool closes for the season on August 12, 2026.
Fun Forest Pool is the City of Tyler's outdoor swimming pool that gives families a place to cool off, swim, and enjoy summer recreation! Located at Fun Forest Park, the pool is part of a larger neighborhood park with spaces for play, exercise, and community gathering.
Admission Fees (Cash Only, $5 minimum required for card transactions)

- Residents - $1/session
- Non-Residents - $3/session
Family Pool Passes: We will now be offering pool passes for the 2026 season. The pass allows a total of 60 visits for up to 4 family members. Each additional family member is $5.00. To purchase a pool pass, please complete an inquiry form.
- Resident Family Pass - $60.00
- Non-Resident Family Pass - $70.00
- Resident Family Pass with Glass Recreation Center Membership - $20.00
- Non-Resident Family Pass with Glass Recreation Center Membership - $30.00
Each patron must present proof of age and residency (School ID, Driver's License, Texas ID, Utility Bill, etc.)
Kids 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult (21 and older) at all times.
* No outside food is allowed at the facility. Concessions such as chips, water and soda are available for purchase in the pool house. No cotton clothing in the pool. Appropriate swimwear only.*

Rentals

A few items to note regarding our rentals:
- No tobacco products, firearms or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
- A Special Event Permit(PDF, 235KB) must be turned in and completed before the event.
- Sound Level not to exceed 75 decibels (reference City Ordinance, Sec. 4-90)
- After the event, the permittee is expected to clean the rented space of any trash or debris from the event.
- All rentals include an appropriate number of staff/lifeguards. access to restrooms.
- All parties of 30 or more will be required to provide or purchase insurance.

Rental Hours for Pool and Splash Pad
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to Noon, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m. to Noon
- Friday: 9 a.m. to Noon, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m. to Noon, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Rental Requirements
$35 per Staff/Hour for each additional 10 people.
All rentals require a 2-hour minimum and 50% of the rental amount down in order to hold the date. The remaining balance must be paid 10 days prior to the event.
The City of Tyler's Fun Forest Pool was renovated in 2020.
