KTyB invites community to 6th Annual Bee Day at the Goodman

Keep Tyler Beautiful invites the community to celebrate the beauty and importance of pollinators at the 6th Annual Bee Day in the Garden on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the historic Goodman-LeGrand Museum at 624 N. Broadway Ave.
This free, family-friendly event highlights the vital role bees, butterflies and other pollinators play in our environment while offering fun, educational experiences for all ages. Set against the backdrop of the beautifully maintained Goodman gardens, Bee Day at the Goodman combines nature, history and community engagement in a unique outdoor setting.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit educational booths staffed by local experts, including certified arborists, beekeepers, Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. These interactive exhibits will provide information about pollinator-friendly gardening, native plants, tree care, local ecosystems and the essential role pollinators play in supporting healthy communities and habitats.

“Bee Day at the Goodman has become a wonderful tradition that brings our community together to learn about and appreciate the pollinators that support our ecosystems and food supply,” said Casey Turner, Keep Tyler Beautiful Coordinator. “We look forward to welcoming families, gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and community members for a day of education, exploration, and fun.”
Vendor setup starts at 7:30 a.m., and admission is free. A $3 per person donation to support the Goodman Museum is suggested.
